The benefits of aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is an ancient treatment that dates as far back as Egyptian times. The technique uses plant extracts to produce aromatic essential oils, which can be employed in a number of different ways: via infusion, inhalation and absorption into the skin through massage.
The benefits of aromatherapy are widely recognised and accepted to help with health problems, conditions and their symptoms. I integrate aromatherapy into different areas of my treatments - where appropriate - and have found it a subtle but extremely useful addition to my clinical therapies.
The use of aromatherapy can make a significant difference to your daily life, through the reduction of stress, anxiety and depression, sports muscle fatigue and joint pain, etc.
